Mr Banta is one of the three Founders of Managed Objects who with
the other two founders saw a need for a heterogeneous object based
information technology integration solutions. Though Managed Objects
software started out as an end to end integration solution and continues
as such today, the current direction of Managed Objects is to assist
corporations in aligning IT with Business services and with ITIL
initiatives.
Mr Banta began his career in 1978 in mainframe communications and
had seen the industry change dramatically over the years. He has
served in many facets of the industry including senior executive
management positions. His current position is Technology Director
for the Asia Pacific Region.
Mr Andrew Saw - Ericsson
Senior Solution Manager
With almost 10 years of experience in the telecommunication industry,
Andrew is currently a Senior Solution Manager with Ericsson in South
East Asia. Based out of Malaysia, he is responsible for Ericsson’s
Network Management &Service Assurance business in the region.
Graduated in Computing from London’s Imperial College, he
started his career with as a software engineer with Tektronix. He
later joined an incumbent telco operator in Malaysia as a lead system
analyst.
Later, he joined EHPT, a joint venture company between Ericsson
and Hewlett Packard, focusing on Business Support Systems for Telcos.
From there, he ventured into Microsoft as a Technology Specialist
and later to Logica CMG as a Solution Manager for Prepaid business
in the region.
Andrew (re)joined Ericsson back in 2005 and was given the task to
drive NMSA initiatives in the region. Working closely with partners
and domain experts, he strives to bring not only technological but
also business benefits to operators in this region. Ericsson is
