Umar ChandranPresident
Umar Chandran served as a military Air Traffic Controller and Air Operations & Communications Officer in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) for 27 years holding various appointments such as Vice-Chairman and Asst Flying Instructor - SAF Flying Club, Examination & Standards Officer, Dy OC - ATC Flight - Tengah Air Base, Chief Instructor - Systems Command Training School (ATC & Air Defence) and Staff Officer - Air Force Curriculum Branch - SAFTI Military Institute.
Retiring as a Major in 1997, he joined the Systems & Computer Organisation, (now part of DSTA) to manage MINDEF/SAF's Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) Programme in which he was responsible for the overall Content Development Programme, CAI Centre setup and support for E-learning training in MINDEF and the SAF, involving the planning, establishing standards and processes and the outsourcing of e-learning courseware content development through various acquisition mechanisms such as Strategic Sourcing Contracts, Term Contracts and COTS as well as the ADF-SAF CAl Cooperation Programme with the Australian Defence Force.
As the Programme Manager in the CIO Office of Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), he was responsible for IT Service Management and IT Budget Control. Currently, he serves as the Senior Manager, IT Services, Shared Services Centre in DSTA and is responsible for the provision of 1st Line IT support services for all of DSTA's 2,800 staff.
Ho Eu JinVice President
Ho Eu Jin has been an active member of the itSMF community for many years.
Ho Eu Jin is no stranger to the ITIL/ITSM community and has many years of working experiences in field of ITIL/ITSM. Eu Jin has led many ITSM roles such as ITSM process owner, ITSM Implementation, Account Delivery Manager, IT Operations, IT Project Manager, and IT Governance throughout his working career in Procter & Gamble Company, Hewlett-Packard Company and currently in UBS Investment Bank.
Eu Jin has spoken on itSMF conferences before and he is a certified ITIL Service Manager and Instructor. Eu Jin is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has recently been accepted as a Fellow into the Institute of Service Management (IOSM).
On the sidetrack, Eujin has graduated from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Eujin is an ardent traveler with personal travelogues across 45 countries in the world and the number is still growing each year.
Peter EdwardsHonorary SecretaryPeter Edwards is the leader of IBM's IT Optimization services for the ASEAN region. He is based in Singapore and is a Managing Consultant in the Infrastructure Technology Services (ITS) team.
Peter has many years of experience in consulting with customers whilst working in IBM, PWC, HP and a software vendor. He has a specialization in the design and implementation of software applications that support effective management of business environments including ERP packages. During his consulting career he has worked in various industry sectors including Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Consumer Products, and Public Sector.
Rama Prasad MamidiAssistant Honorary Secretary
Rama Prasad Mamidi is the Regional Manager in Computer Sciences Corporation taking care of Service Desk Solutions Department. Prior to this, he was a Project Director in AdXplorer taking care of Software development.
He was certified as ITIL Practitioner in Service Desk, Incident and Problem Management by EXIN in 2007. He was also awarded PMP Certification by PMI in Sep 2005.
Anne Lim-TanTreasurer
Anne Lim-Tan has a more than 2 decades of experience in the IT industry. During her 20+ years' tenure with IBM she was involved in positioning and implementing IBM technology solutions in industry segments such as Banking & Financial Services, Public Sector, Education, Transportation & Manufacturing. She also held various responsibilities in areas such as Strategic Account Management, Server Sales & Marketing, Segment Development and Channels Development & Management. Anne is currently an Academic Staff at Republic Polytechnic (School of Information and Communications Technology) where she hopes to share her real world experience with her students and help them develop life skills. Anne holds a Bachelors degree from RMIT, Australia and is ITIL Service Manager (ISEB) certified.
Anne spends her spare time working out at the gym, cooking and playing golf with her family.
Sushil ChaterjiOrdinary Council MemberAs Director & Principal Consultant of Edutech Enterprises, Sushil has been providing advisory consulting and training services in the S. E. Asian region over the last 8 years. His primary areas of engagement are in IT Governance, IT Operations Excellence and Enterprise Architecture. Sushil and his associates work together to provide learning, facilitation and strategy deployment services to assist organisations in integrating process, knowledge, technology and change approaches for improving business and organisational performance. Sushil is a keen proponent of IT Governance.
Besides being a director on the board of the IS Audit & Control Association (ISACA) Singapore chapter, and a council member of the IT Service Management Forum Singapore (itSMF), he is a member of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS), the IT Managers Association (ITMA), the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), and the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC). He holds a Masters degree in Business Management and has professional certification in Enterprise Architecture and also Managing Information Technology from the U.S.
JC SekarOrdinary Council Member
JC Sekar is a General Manager with Underwriters Laboratories the globally renowned Standards and Conformity Assessment Agency. He has a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering and has extensive experience in the manufacturing and service sectors in the areas of Project Management, Facility Planning, Technology Development, Technology Transfer, Computerization, Supply Chain Management, Business Management Systems implementation training, consulting and evaluations across multiple continents. In his present role, JC is responsible for leading and managing the operations and service delivery of his Business Unit across Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa.
JC has spearheaded UL's entry into service offerings such as eSCM best practice model for the ITES industry and other offerings including ISMS, IT Service Management and Business Continuity Management. In this role, he has had a very close interaction with Carnegie Mellon University and with IT and IT Enabled Service providers across the globe. As a Certified Lead Evaluator for the eSCM model of Carnegie Mellon University, JC has led teams performing assessments at in-house and third party ITES service providers on all aspects of outsourcing with emphasis on Information Security, IT Service Management and Business Continuity Management. JC also leads the ISO 20000-1 certification business of Underwriters Laboratories globally.
