Troubleshooting Simulation by Kepner Tregoe

TITLE:

The ITSM Leadership Summit is coming up, and we'd love for you to join us for a complimentary hands-on workshop to try out Kepner-Tregoe's Troubleshooting Simulation Program.

DESCRIPTION:

Kepner-Tregoe or better known as KT, has developed a new troubleshooting simulator that allows people to practice their troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a realistic yet safe-to-fail environment. The simulator, which uses Lego Mindstorms® Robots, provides an engaging and interactive experience that simulates the trouble shooting environment in real life. The audience would be immersed in a scenario where they would need to troubleshoot under time pressure and any unnecessary actions taken would have financial impact and consequences.

"ABC is like an iceberg, much of it hidden beneath the surface and yet capable of inflicting enormous damage....." to your IT organization, or more importantly, your business!

Business & IT-Alignment: BRM in practice by GamingWorks

TITLE:

In this session delegates will take part in a Dynamic business game, which simulates a year in the life of the Grab@Pizza organization. The first 6 months were dramatic in terms of IT and business performance. The Business has an ambitious strategy, using IT to realize increased business value. The current IT capabilities are a risk, causing Value leakage. Luckily Grab@Pizza has a BRM (Business Relationship manager) role who will help turn the company around!

DESCRIPTION:

Why has Business & IT-Alignment been a problem for so long? What is BRM (Business Relationship Maanagement) and how can that help us finally solve this ever recurring theme. Many organizations say they are 'doing BRM' — yet there are widely differing views on scope and the skills required. Other organizations are struggling to make a case for BRM. Whether your organization has a BRM capability or not, one fact remains the same - 'Business & IT alignment is still a TOP 3 concern for CIO's'? BRM should be a core capability in helping solve the Business & It alignment problem.

In this session delegates will take part in a Dynamic business game. Between game rounds the team will use BRM concepts, tools, models to assess their alignment capability, and will agree improvement initiatives. Come and use your BRM knowledge, skills and capabilities to demonstrate to the CEO in the game how to make BRM a strategic capability.
